Amber Dorrell

Amber A. Dorrell is a lifelong resident of South Carolina and has proudly called Rock Hill home for the past 18 years. She graduated first in her class from Francis Marion University in 2004, earning a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, summa cum laude. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2007 and has practiced law in the greater Charlotte area ever since. Mrs. Dorrell is licensed to practice in both North Carolina and South Carolina.

For more than 17 years, Mrs. Dorrell represented employers and insurance companies in workers’ compensation matters at every stage of the process, including discovery, mediation, hearings, and appeals. Throughout that time, she gained firsthand knowledge of the strategies used by insurance companies to minimize liability in claims brought by injured workers. Motivated by a desire to use her experience to help individuals rather than large insurers, Mrs. Dorrell shifted her focus to advocating for injured people in her community. In addition to her work in workers’ compensation, she also represents clients in personal injury matters.

Mrs. Dorrell is married and the proud mother of two sons, a daughter, and three dogs. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, attending baseball and volleyball games, and volunteering at her children’s sporting events.
